Expansion: Mexican companies are far from achieving digital maturity
According to the Digital Maturity Report in Mexico, only 41.7% of companies have achieved digital transformation. Meanwhile, 70% of employees believe that the adoption of generative AI will change at least 30% of their work in the next two years. Mexican companies are still 30 points away from their ideal state of digital transformation and only 1% have reached "maturity in Artificial Intelligence (AI)," a study published last Wednesday revealed.
"Today companies in Mexico, whether they are technology natives or not, must see AI as a key resource; invest in tools and, especially, allocate resources in continuous training to be able to manage and understand all the potential it offers," said Gustavo Barcia, CEO and founder of Needed Education, in a statement.
It also notes that only 1% of companies have reached "digital maturity," i.e., the full integration of AI into workflows and as a driver of much of the business results.
Understanding the future begins with analyzing the present. Needed produces reports that help companies and individuals measure professional and competitive longevity.
